CORONA X ECLIPSE

The Corona ritual is known worldwide: best enjoyed with a slice of lime and sunlight. But for a brand built around the Sun, the 2024 Annular Solar Eclipse couldn’t go unnoticed. How could the iconic lime ritual continue when the Sun was disappearing?

By using the half-eclipsed Sun as the iconic Corona lime slice, we invited fans to do the same with an eclipse-length promo.
                                                                          
We didn’t just celebrate the eclipse, we activated it with influencers who encouraged fans to recreate the Corona ritual by ordering a beer during the event. With only a short window to order, the activation reinforced Corona’s identity through meaningful, time-sensitive engagement.
